How easy is it to have a website designed by Snowcutter ?

Very easy.

Snowcutter aims to make the process as simple as possible from the initial, free no-obligation, consultation right through to the final publishing of the design.

Our standard scheme provides one year of web design and publishing from the date of your order. The initial site build is included in with the first order. We avoid complex pricing structures by providing as much standard web design service as you require for a single one off low payment.

As much as you require?

Yes.
If you provide the content, it will be included into the design.
Possibilities you may wish to consider:

  • Pages with text, graphics and simple animations,
  • School Tour - pictures and text,
  • Visitors Book - moderated via a member of your staff,
  • Pages to allow downloads of newsletters, brochures, Ofsted reports, etc,
  • Mailing List - send text copies of newsletters and other announcements to subcribers by filling out a web based form.
  • Gallery - display lots of pictures with text of events, childrens' work, etc,
  • Integrating into the site design pages written by staff or children using proprietry software (e.g. Black Cat Spider or similar),
  • The Game Zone - Hanoi, Word Game, Some Sums and more,
  • Staff Zone - "staff only" area for document downloads (policies, plans, work sheets), links to educational resources sites, etc

The steps involved are:

  • Initial free consultation in order to answer your questions and draft out a basic plan (estimated 1 hour but not limited).
  • After your order is received, the draft design is developed to your requirements, built around your essential contributions (pictures/logos/text content), which can be provided (by post or email) as paper prints or software files.
  • During construction you can view the ongoing development of the design on a dedicated section of the Snowcutter web space.
  • Interim comments can be fed back as often as you like and changes will be made to the design as quickly as possible.
  • The "finished" design will be agreed by you and published to the school's dedicated web space.
  • When more content is ready, just send it with your instructions (or ring) and it too will be added to the site.
